加速度傳感器中有一種是三軸加速度傳感器，同樣的它是基于加速度的基本原理去實現工作的，加速度是個空間矢量，一方面，要準確了解物體的運動狀態，必須測得其三個坐標軸上的分量；另一方面，在預先不知道物體運動方向的場合下，只有應用三軸加速度傳感器來檢測加速度信號。由于三軸加速度傳感器也是基于重力原理的，因此用三軸加速度傳感器可以實現雙軸正負90度或雙軸0-360度的傾角，通過校正后期精度要高于雙軸加速度傳感器大于測量角度為60度的情況。三軸加速度傳感器的好處就是在預先不知道物體運動方向的場合下，只有應用三維加速度傳感器來檢測加速度信號。三維加速度傳感器具有體積小和重量輕特點，可以測量空間加速度，能夠全面準確反映物體的運動性質。
美國Dytran的3333A1是一款IEPE三軸加速度傳感器/振動傳感器，壓電式工作原理，頻響低至0.31Hz，自帶M4.5 x 0.35接口，信噪比非常優異。
The Dytran 3333A1 is a miniature IEPE triaxial accelerometer with a low end frequency response of 0.31 Hz, for excellent phase response at low frequencies. Units weigh just 2.3 grams, have a vertical height of 0.32 inches (8.1 millimeters), and offer excellent signal-to-noise ratio.
The distinguishing characteristic of the model 3333A1 is its exclusive, Dytran designed 4-pin radial connector. Compared to the industry standard connector (1/4-28 thread size), the model 3333A1 incorporates a M4.5 x 0.35 connector that is approximately 20% smaller in size. This substantial size difference allows for a more flexible, lightweight cable, a smaller diameter for the connector, and also contributes to the overall small size of the accelerometer.
Available with a 10 mV/g sensitivity, the Dytran model 3333A1 features ceramic shear sensing elements coupled with ultra low noise JFET electronics, packaged in a robust laser welded titanium housing. Units are hermetically sealed for reliable operation in high humidity and dirty environments.
